ENSURING A FLUSH CLOSE OF THE MAILBOX FLAP

If the mailbox key cannot be removed when in the unlocked position.

1. Open the mailbox flap. 
2. Turn the key to the locked position.
3. Loosen the rear cam nut or screw just enough to turn the cam plate 90 degrees, clear of any obstruction.
4. Re-tighten the cam nut or screw.
5. The mailbox flap will now close flush.

1. Place the expander unit inside the mailbox.
2. Using the Tubular key provided unlock the Master lock.
3. Leave the key inserted in the lock.
4. Insert the Allen key provided into the hole to the right of the key.
5. Turn the Allen key clockwise to raise the lid until it reaches the roof of your mailbox. Ensure the mailbox insert is secure.
6. Remove the Allen key once the insert is securely in place. 
7. With these steps completed, the Expander Mailbox Insert is now locked in position.
